Pile 1- Feather- The Feline Rider Tarot
Eight of Cups- Loss. Release. Sadness- The Eight of Cups indicates sadness and sometimes depression. You are struggling emotionally and the message this week is that a release of some kind is being called for. It’s time to walk away from what isn’t working. If you’ve been fighting and clinging to something that has been blocking your soul’s progress, this week the message is to let it go. Release what no longer serves you and make space for what does.
The Hanged Man- Sacrifice. Letting go. Spiritual hold-ups- The Hanged Man indicates that things are not moving as quickly as you would like. Often, The Hanged Man brings the need for a sacrifice of some kind. As we transform and grow, things need to be released. What old habits, thoughts, relationships, or ideas do you need to let go of? What are you hanging on to that is keeping you in this feeling of stagnancy? If you feel you keep hitting roadblocks, it may be time to pause and consider a different route.
Six of Swords- Insight. Acceptance. Movement- The Six of Swords brings forward movement. It’s time to accept your current situation for exactly what it is. Doing so brings insight and understanding and it is this clarity that will allow things to begin to shift forward this week. It’s time to unstick yourself and let the energy flow forward. I feel you’ve been holding yourself back wishing things were a different way than they are, and this week gives you the opportunity to accept where you are, and the understanding that you gain from the acceptance helps you to make a necessary shift.
Overall- It's time to let go of something that is holding you back and keeping you stuck. Whether this is a relationship, job, or attitude, it's time to clean house this week. You feel stuck because you know it's time to move on, but you're clinging to something that isn't serving you. The message is to calm your mind, accept your current situation for what it is, and begin to take a step or two forward. Sometimes a small step in the right direction is all that is needed to change the game...
Pile 2 - Selenite, Mythic Tarot
Four of Cups- Boredom. Dissatisfaction. Discontent- The Four of Cups indicates a period of dissatisfaction or unhappiness. Things haven’t been going the way you would like them to go, and you’re looking at the glass half empty. It’s time to get up and dust yourself off and consider how you have created this state. Attitude is everything, so turn yours around this week. Where have you created some of this upset with unrealistic expectations? Can you be more honest with yourself and your loved ones about your needs?
The Chariot- Movement. Conflict. Willpower- The Chariot brings conflict your way this week. Your current situation is making you feel pulled in multiple directions and things are starting to spiral out of control. It’s time to tap into your strength and courage and focus on what you need to do for you. Stop letting yourself get pulled around. The only one directing your life is you, so grab the reins and consciously choose your path.
King of Cups-Empathy. Healing. Compassion- The King of Cups is the great healer of the tarot, and he brings the beautiful gifts of empathy and compassion with him. You have been giving and giving and giving and this week The King wants you to check in on your own energy level. Are you giving from a place of abundance and overflow or are you giving to the point of exhaustion? Hint: It's the second one. Your habit is to give to everyone else, but you need to fill your own cup because otherwise you’re going to end up depleted…if you’re not already there. What can you do to fill your cup this week?
Overall- You're feeling down and out and like you're fighting a fight you can't win. The message for this week is to hit the brakes hard and really think about how you are utilizing your energy. Are you allowing yourself to get drained by giving more than you have? It's time to shift gears and take care of yourself. You can't give from an empty cup, so how can you fill yours this week?
Pile 3- Dragon, Pulp Tarot
Three of Wands- Satisfaction. Achievement. Optimism- The Three of Wands indicates early success. Energies are coming together and it seems The Universe is supporting your plans. It is important to acknowledge the growth and process you have made, but there is still work to be done, so you need to stay strong and steady and not get complacent. Keep your focus this week and don’t let yourself get distracted.
Seven of Cups- Choices. Options. Illusions- The Seven of Cups is considered the card of “castles in the air” and it indicates a need for choice. It’s time to seek clarity and get some perspective on what is real and what is an illusion. You are getting yourself stuck by deliberating all of your choices, and it’s time to just pick one thing and get to work. You can’t manifest what you want if you don’t make a decision about what you want.
King of Cups- Counselor. Healer. Empathy. You are a gifted healer, and you put a lot of love and positive energy into the world. You may find yourself giving even more than usual this week; and even though healing is one of your gifts, this is your gentle reminder to not get burnt out. You just can’t give from an empty cup, so make sure you are doing your work from a healthy, whole, and balanced place.
Overall- Thing seem to be coming together for you, and The Universe is supporting your plans. You have multiple irons in the fire right now and you need to pick and choose the most important ones to work on, so you don't burn yourself out. The answer for this week lies in keeping yourself in emotional balance. Don't overextend. It'll only slow your progress...
