Pile 1 - Pentacle, Smith-Waite Tarot

The Fool-Faith. Risk. Change- The Fool indicates that a new cycle is about to begin for you, and it is one that requires a leap of faith. The Fool has vision and the impulse to follow his vision, even if he doesn’t know how it will turn out. The truth is… we never really “know” how anything will turn out, and the appearance of The Fool is a sign that things are shifting for you and it’s time for change. If an unexpected opportunity presents itself this week, listen to your intuition and your gut instincts to help you make a decision.

Four of Pentacles- Stability. Hoarding. Clinging- The Four of Pentacles is known as “the card of the miser.” While this Four indicates stability and security, the Four of Pentacles also cautions you against gripping or holding on too tightly to something or someone. Fear of loss can block your growth, and you need to loosen your grip a bit. This Four is saying that you have created the stability you need. You don’t need to hold onto it quite so tightly.

Queen of Swords- Focus. Boundaries. Intelligence- The Queen of Swords holds strong boundaries and high ideals. She knows exactly what she wants and she’s very clear about it. She can however, be slightly detached from her emotions, and that’s what she is saying to me this week. Have you been too focused on the idea of “perfectionism” that it is preventing you from enjoying the present moment? Are you holding yourself to such a high standard that you are blocking your own growth? If you’re waiting to make a move until you feel ready… rarely does anyone “feel ready” when trying something new. Pick up your sword and go for it.

Overall- You are at the beginning of a cycle and a new opportunity presents itself this week.. one that requires a leap of faith or a risk of some kind. You are standing on the precipice of a new adventure, but you’re blocking your growth and progress by clinging and gripping too tightly to your present situation. The message is to get out of your head. That’s not where the answer is. You need to tap into your intuition and instincts to make your next move. You have the stability you need. Now, it’s time to grow… Growth requires change and movement… so let things shift as they need to this week. Trust yourself.

Pile 2 - Selenite, Mythic Tarot

Knight of Cups- Desire. Proposal. Love- The Knight of Cups represents our heart’s desires. What does your heart want at this time? Where do you need to feel more emotionally fulfilled or connected? The Knight is here to help you to open up and recognize both what you want and what you need. Do you feel like your ideals for your romantic partnerships are too high? The Knight of Cups is telling me that they’re not. He wants you to get exactly what it is you desire.

Four of Pentacles- Clinging. Stability. Stagnation- The Four of Pentacles is known as “the card of the miser.” This four says you are blocking your growth out of fear of loss. You need to take a big exhale and lighten up your grip because you are creating stagnation by clinging to the past. Where are you allowing your fears to hold you back? You have the stability and structure you need, so relax…

The Hanged Man- Sacrifice. Acceptance. Delays- It’s time to let go… The Hanged Man brings beautiful delays or hold ups of some kind, but they are karmic and hold an important message. Patience is being called for this week. What can you give up or sacrifice to create space? Hint: It might be an old attitude or situation. Can you begin to look at your current situation from an altered perspective? The Hanged Man wants you to breathe, pause, and wait for the understanding to appear…

Overall- This week brings the need for an attitude adjustment. It’s time to shift your perspective. You have this beautiful vision of what you desire, but you are blocking yourself from getting what you want out of some old fears or past experiences. The message for you is to loosen your grip and let go of whatever it is you’re clinging to because it is no longer serving you. This situation isn’t going to resolve this week. It’s going to take a little time, so have patience and trust the process.

Pile 3 - Feather, Faerie Tarot

Five of Cups- Sadness. Regret. Loss- The Five of Cups brings disappointment and regret. This Five can indicate hurt feelings or a loss of some kind. Often, we allow ourselves to get stuck looking at the cups that have spilled out instead of the cups that are left standing. If you’re feeling sad or disappointed this week, first consider whether unrealistic or expressed expectations may have contributed to the issue. Have you been clear about your needs? Acknowledge your feelings and process them, but all is not lost. There is something to be worked on or worked through, so watch where you put your attention.

Six of Swords- Acceptance. Understanding. Harmony- The Six of Swords brings acceptance, understanding, and tranquility to you this week. The faeries in this boat have given themselves the time and space to speak clearly and calmly, without disruption. This Six indicates that you need to find that same balance this week. Are you listening in your relationships? If you’re feeling challenged, focus on understanding and acceptance. Do you know where the other person is really coming from? Ask them and then open up your ears, mind, and heart to receive the answer.

Queen of Swords- Boundaries. Ideals. Focus- The Queen of Swords brings focus, intelligence and high ideals to the table this week. This Queen is strong and she knows what she needs. She is here this week to help you to be clear. Setting boundaries is no easy task and this Faery Queen wants to lend you her sword and also her calm energy, so that you can begin to cultivate better boundaries of your own.

Overall- Tough love time from The Fae… You’re feeling disappointed or disillusioned and you’re wallowing. The Fae severely dislike wallowing because they say it blocks all the fun. It’s time to acknowledge where you may have created some of this upset by not listening to the other people involved and/or by not clearly setting the healthy boundaries you need. The message this week is to take an honest look at how you got into this mess. Give the situation some calm loving attention and it should clear up. Then, put some healthy boundaries into place moving forward.
